Wizard of Oz

I enjoyed reading this book far more than I had expected. Although I had seen the movie several times, I felt like I was seeing this story being told in a whole new light. It was darker, even though this is a children's story. I really love how Baum subtlety shows through out the book how the characters already possess what ever they have been seeking. I also really like how it was written. I love books that are very descriptive, so I can picture exactly what's happening as I read along. Baum makes many assumptions in his book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
